At some point in their lives every man has measured the size of his penis. Throughout history society has tried to define the optimum penis size (normally longer). Art, particularly erotic art, is full of examples of exaggerated phalluses as artists try to define manhood in their work, with size defining a man's sexual power and vigor. The art and entertainment industry, particularly the adult industry, have contributed to to the perception that you need to be well endowed to be good in bed. Even nowadays, bigger is always seen to be better.

Men are particularly obsessed with their penis size - probably more so than women with their breast size. A lot of women say that it's not the size, but what you do with it. In fact, the girth of the penis is more to do with how much a woman is satisfied rather than the length. Women will always have a personal preference of course - some prefer long, some small; some thick, some thinner. Having said that, most women prefer thicker in terms of their own sexual satisfaction. Although it's not just the size of the penis that matters, it's also the combination of skill, passion and romance that heightens the sensation.

To say that men who are small are not good at sex is a ridiculous generalization and just short of discriminating. In general, women are more concerned about what the man has to offer overall.
